We are delighted to announce we have entered #LightupBexley and are asking that all businesses support us in decorating your business premises this Christmas! We will contribute £50 to each BID levy payer to decorate their shop front this Christmas.

Help spread some Christmas cheer and ‘light up Bexley’!
To add some cheer to Christmas the Mayor is challenging Bexley residents, businesses and groups to light up their houses for the festive season.
The Mayor – Councillor James Hunt – said: “Let’s add some sparkle to Christmas this year, and go full on National Lampoon! Lights, inflatables – whatever does it for you.”
To take part in the Mayor’s competition you will need to register by emailing mayorsoffice@bexley.gov.uk with your full address including postcode and telephone contact number so we can make sure we can come around and judge your lights.
When you have registered, please post your pictures on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #LightUpBexley
And the best bit, over the weekend of 18, 19, 20 December the Mayor will tour the Borough and pick the best. From shop windows and flat balconies, to terraced houses and stables – let’s get some cheer going this Christmas.
The prizes for the competition winners will be –
First prize: £250 Marks & Spencer’s Voucher, donated by Ewemove Sales & Lettings – www.ewemove.com/bexleyheath
Second prize: £200 Family photography session, donated by Nigel Barrett Photography – www.nigelphoto.com
Third prize: £50 Amazon voucher, donated by the Mayor
