Bexley businesses invited to sparkling breakfast launch of 2019 Awards
The seventh annual Bexley Business Excellence Awards in association with Ocado will open for entries at a special launch event on Thursday, 31st January, 2019.
The borough’s prestigious awards, which celebrate the achievements of Bexley’s ambitious business community, will build on the success of last year’s programme.
Guests at the breakfast launch in historic Hall Place, in Bexley will hear full details about the new criteria for 2019, as well more information about the glittering black-tie Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony.
Welcoming news of the launch, founding sponsor London Borough of Bexley, invites businesses to the launch to find out how they can benefit from entering the awards.
Councillor Louie French, Bexley’s Deputy Council Leader and Cabinet Member for Growth, said: “The 2018 Awards were a huge success, with many local businesses and organisations crowning off a successful year of trading with a night of celebration and fun. The Bexley Business Excellence Awards are free to enter and open to businesses of all sizes and across all sectors in the borough. The entry process is easy, with businesses being able to register online and choose from 12 business categories that best reflect their enterprise.
The winners of the 2019 awards, including the overall Bexley Business of the Year, will be exclusively announced at a Gala Awards Dinner in a marquee in the grounds of Hall Place in the summer.
The Awards programme is sponsored by Ocado, Event Partners London Borough of Bexley and Bexley for Business, Aitch Group, Crayford Greyhound Track, ITRM Ltd., Learning and Enterprise College Bexley, London South East Colleges, Peabody, Waterman Group, and Sidcup Partners Ltd. They are supported by the Bexley Times, Insight6, Maid on a Mission, Mobile Bar Hire and Northgate Public Services.
The headline sponsor for the fourth year running, Ocado, are currently completing work on what will be the world’s biggest Customer Fulfilment Centre (CFC) at Erith, which will employ 3,000 locally recruited people by 2020.
