Bexley Libraries report big increase in digital downloads

Downloads of ebooks and eaudiobooks from Bexley Libraries have almost doubled since the Coronavirus pandemic took hold.

The number of weekly downloads has increased from just over 500 a month ago to more than 900 last week.

Library staff have been busy buying more digital stock, to provide customers with even more choice.

They have also introduced two new digital services –

  • 1,001 audiobooks are now available for download from the RBDigitial platform – alongside the libraries’ eMagazines and eComics collections
  • A new collection of 500 audiobooks is now available for download from ULibrary
