Free seat for Dad on Father’s Day at Sidcup’s big summer party!
Take Dad to the movies at Sidcup Festival Fringe this Father’s Day and he can pull up a chair for free.
Sidcup’s big summer party – Sidcup Fringe Festival 2018 in association with Merton Court Prep School – is back on 16th and 17th June with a fantastic free programme of food, fun and entertainment.
This year’s big Family Fun Day on the Sunday will offer a brand new feature, a giant outdoor cinema screen showing three classic comedy films for free – Trolls (12pm), Mrs Doubtfire (3.30) and Back to the Future (6.30pm).
You can book deckchairs in advance – £5 for adults and £3 for children – to view the movies in comfort. But if you bring Dad along on Father’s Day, he’ll get a deckchair for free.
It’s a great way to get Dad, Mum and the kids together to enjoy a picnic and a classic comedy film at this great family event. There will also be food, drink and community stalls, as well as stilt walkers and face-painters for the kids.

Dominic Price, Headmaster of Merton Court Prep School, the headline sponsor of the 2018 Sidcup Fringe Festival, said he was delighted that families could enjoy such a great event.
