New Chairman appointed for Bexley Co
Jeremy Stibbe has been appointed as the new Chairman of BexleyCo, the Council’s arm’s length development company and will take up the role from 1 February.
Jeremy has 38 years’ experience of leading development and property management for large housing associations and local authority trading companies. He has operated at director and board level for over 26 years and delivered successful development, regeneration & commercial ventures for a range of organisations, including Notting Hill Genesis, Peabody and L & Q. His most recent executive role was as managing director of the London Borough of Hounslow’s trading company, Lampton Homes. He is a non-executive director of Housing Solutions Housing Assocation and a director at Building a safer Future Charter. Leader of the Council, Cllr Baroness O’Neill of Bexley OBE said: “We are delighted that Jeremy will be joining BexleyCo as its new Chairman. “The position attracted a number of excellent candidates, reflecting the positive progress that BexleyCo has made and the reputation it is building for quality developments that meet the needs of local people.” Jeremy Stibbe said: “I am delighted to be joining BexleyCo as Chairman. Returns generated by the sale of the new homes BexleyCo builds are directly reinvested back into services and facilities for Bexley’s residents.
