New Click and Collect at Sidcup Library
New click and collect library service

From this Saturday 14 November a new click and collect book service will be available, two days a week, at Sidcup Library and at Central Library, Bexleyheath.

The public will be able to pre-order specific books by title or library staff can select items for them, in a lucky-dip style, based on their reading preferences.

Councillor Peter Craske, Bexley’s Cabinet Member for Places said:
“We are always looking at the best way to provide library services for local people. Along with our range of free online services, such as e-magazines and audio books, click and collect means that we are continuing to deliver a quality service during lockdown, which is really important for any residents who may be feeling isolated.”

The click and collect service is available as follows;
Central Library, Bexleyheath – Tuesday 9.30am-5.00pm, Saturday 9.30am-4.30pm.
Sidcup Library – Thursday 9.30am-5.00pm and Saturday 9.30am-4.30pm.

During these times library staff will be unable to offer any other services including the return of stock. The return date for all books currently out on loan has automatically been extended until 9 December.

The service will be operated in line with government guidelines. Find out more information on click and collect at https://arena.yourlondonlibrary.net/web/bexley/click-and-collect
