The Hair Movement

We are delighted to welcome The Hair Movement back to Station Road on July 4th (subject to government guidelines) with some changes post lockdown and want to congratulate them on the measures they have put into place not only for the welfare of their staff but also their customers.

Their “tribe” will be working shifts to ensure that there will be no more than four guests in the salon at a given time as well as working schedule changes to accommodate as many guests as possible and are offering an online booking system prior to opening. Cleaning is of upmost importance and 15 minutes has been scheduled between each appointment to ensure this takes place, all contact areas will be disinfected and deep cleaned along with tools. This time allocation also allows staff to be mask free for a period of time. The salon is also opening as a cash free salon and will be taking payments by card only. Blow-dries will not be taking place at this time and a single person entry system is a in place with a buzzer in place for entrance into the salon. A temperature check will take place using a contactless thermometer as well as some health control questions. Guests are asked to only bring outerwear and bags into the salon when necessary. Guests will be asked to wash their hands as well as wear a mask during their appointment and staff will wear N95 face masks and a full visor during hair washing.

We are so proud of our Sidcup community and the measures they are putting into place for not only their staff but for all of us, we will begin a “new normality” “working together”

A “thumbs up Sidcup” to The Hair Movement
