This year Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.

To celebrate, the London Borough of Bexley is inviting all Bexley residents to create a portrait of Her Majesty in any media and share it with the Council and other residents using Facebook or Twitter.

Entries must carry the hashtag #BexleyJubileePortrait and tag the London Borough of Bexley’s Facebook page or Twitter Account @LBofBexley. Those from people under 18 years of age should include the age category they fall in, either under 4, KS1, KS2, KS3 or KS4.

The prizes will be –

Under 4, KS1, KS2 winners: £25 in vouchers

KS3, KS4 and 18+ winners: £50 in vouchers

The winners selected by the judges will need to provide their original artwork to claim their prize and so that their work can be shared online and in the Bexley Magazine.
